A New Dawn / History  

6 months ago I walked into my local bike shop after a training ride as I’ve done 100’s of times before.   Marvelling at the latest cycling goodies, new bikes and a chat with the friendly staff is always a good end to a long ride.  By the time I left I was a founding member for a bike race team!  You never know what will come out of a chat.   

Anyway, once we decided we were going forward with the idea the fun could begin.  Designing kit, looking what bikes we could get and recruiting riders.

So after deciding to get the kit from endura the next step was some riders.  We decided to go the route of quality not quantity.  I’ll do some proper profiles in due course  but here’s a brief intro to the Team:

Phil Reynolds, 30-04-1991, Born Cornwall, Now Porthsmouth. Best moment of 2011- completing my first proper season of racing and coming away racing as a 1st cat and not too many scars, Ride circuit and track.

Andy Bryson; 27/05/82; Born in Birkenhead, Wirral; Lives in Winchester.  Best moment of 2011 was winning the Omega Stage Race

Mike Scott; 05/11/1965. Born Eastleigh now live in Colden Common. Best moment of 2011 2nd to Andy in Prologue of Omega Stage Race.

Harry Bulstrode, 16/7/82, born London now Southampton. Best moment of 2011 was winning the Sandy Radford Memorial with a solo breakaway.

Oliver Hitchings 14/04/85, Born Winchester.  Best moment of 2011.  First ever clear race victory, and riding the climbs of my heroes in northern Italy  

Brook Elgie, a super fast climber with lots of potential.
